The Keys to the New World: Universal Codes That Lead Us to Freedom on All Levels
This podcast is different from my previous ones, simply because it explores topics that were known as the “Mysteries” in ancient times.
Why might this information be important today? It’s simple: If we understand the symbolism and deeper meaning of the order of 12, then we also understand where we may still be living in a spiritual prison that can be shattered by the number 13 (and perhaps must finally be shattered).
So, on the one hand, it is a journey through cultures and ancient mysteries, but on the other hand, it is also about applying that knowledge clearly and directly to our lives in today’s so-called “modern” world.
By reintegrating what has been separated, we are able to break through age-old boundaries and expand into our true selves.
In this podcast, I won’t go into further detail about who “cut us off” or who “took” our ancient knowledge from us. There are many explanations for this, but even these only keep us trapped in a cycle of powerlessness. Ultimately, while there are those who did it, there are always also those who allowed it to happen—those who did not stand up for the truth and the preservation of this vital knowledge. In times when the vibration drops, as was the case in the last age, it’s also relatively normal for high-vibrational knowledge to be lost. Not only because it was suppressed, but also—and above all—because people’s vibration generally drops so much that the importance of this knowledge is no longer clear, and the ancient knowledge is often no longer understood.
Now, in this day and age and at this vibrational frequency, this ancient knowledge is becoming accessible once again. Little by little, the veils are lifting. They are revealing once more the profound knowledge that is indispensable to us on our path to physical, mental, and spiritual freedom—freedom on all levels of our being.
Ancient traditions teach us the same profound truths over and over again in a wide variety of ways. Whether we consider astrological knowledge, numerological knowledge, energy-based knowledge (chakras), psychological knowledge, or even cosmic knowledge, it all leads to the same core truth.
Issue 12/13: A Universal Code
But this is by no means about old, outdated knowledge. It often only seems that way because we are familiar only with the legends, stories, books, and writings of ancient times—and thus with an ancient language. And because of the way things were expressed back then, we often cannot truly understand or take them seriously.
Universal codes are hidden within the ancient mysteries, and they are now becoming comprehensible and accessible once again.
It is our task in today’s world—indeed, not just a task, but above all a great gift—to dust off this knowledge, understand it, put it into contemporary terms, adapt it to current global issues, and recognize the opportunities it offers us.
If we recognize these opportunities, we will walk these paths once again and enter into true freedom on all levels.
In the years to come, this freedom will be the overarching theme of this world, and the Mysteries—Reloaded—are the key.

The Concept of 12 and 13: Numbers as a Universal Language
If we understand how the significance of the number 12 as a perfect order and the significance of the disruptive power and reorganization of the number 13 work in our lives—and how they can be consciously applied once again—then we will have taken a giant step forward.
For millennia, cultures have used numbers not only for counting, but also as symbolic systems of order to make the invisible comprehensible.
One of the most striking of these is the number 12. Right on its threshold stands the number 13—feared, revered, and repressed.
Together, they tell a story of fulfillment and change— regardless of time, place, culture, or religion.
In the following, I'll show you with a few examples how 12 and 13 work together. Stay tuned. But first, I'd like to briefly explain that all these examples are based on one thing:
The number 12 represents perfect order. A complete cycle, a self-contained system.
But life is all about constant growth. It can't just stop at 12.
If it stays at 12, we'll be trapped inside.
The number 12 is absolutely wonderful for describing perfect order. But it’s not life-affirming to remain stuck there. It’s always about evolving beyond that.
Applied to our lives today, this means that wherever we encounter a closed circle represented by the number 12, we should use the explosive power of the number 13 to move forward.
Even social systems confine us in this way. It is up to us to understand and bring about change: through the realization of the 13th.
And it’s not just that the number 12 is presented to us as the “end.” In fact, the number 13 has been so “demonized” that we don’t want it. It is feared, revered, and repressed.
You may be aware that, in many cultures, 13 is now considered an “unlucky number.” High-rise buildings often don’t have a 13th floor. Airplanes often don’t have a 13th row, and so on.
And so the idea that the number 13 is scary has crept into the collective consciousness.
But what if she's the key we've been looking for all this time?
Let's move on to the examples I promised:
12—The Number of Cosmic Order
Across cultures, the number 12 is regarded as the number of wholeness. It represents a complete cycle, a system that is internally coherent and well-rounded. Its symbolic power stems from its structure:
3 stands for spirit, heaven, and consciousness
4 represents matter, earth, and the four elements
→ 3 × 4 = 12: the union of heaven and earth
The number 12 brings order to chaos and makes complexity accessible.
The Number 12 in the Cosmos and in Astrology
In astrology, the number 12 represents a complete map of human experience:
The 12 Signs of the Zodiac: Archetypal Stages of Consciousness Development
12 Houses: All Aspects of Life, from Identity to Transcendence
12 months, 12 full moons
12-hour day / 12-hour night in traditional time systems
The 12th house is particularly significant: It represents dissolution, withdrawal, devotion, and spiritual preparation. It is the end of the cycle—but not yet the new beginning (that would be the 13th).
The Number 12 in Religion and Mythology
The number 12 always appears whenever divine order or sacred structure is described:
Christianity: The 12 Apostles, the 12 Tribes of Israel, the 12 Gates of Heavenly Jerusalem
Judaism: The 12 Tribes of Jacob, the 12 Gemstones on the High Priest's Breastplate
Islam (Shi'a): 12 Imams
Ancient Greece: 12 Olympic Gods, 12 Labors of Heracles
Norse Mythology: The 12 Main Gods of Asgard
In all these traditions, the number 12 represents a complete divine system—an order that holds the world together and is complete in itself.
The Number 12 as a Psychological Symbol
We can even find the number 12 in psychology: Carl Gustav Jung saw the number 12 as a symbol of wholeness. Mandalas, circles, and divisions into twelve parts appear in dreams and spiritual visions when the self strives for integration.
The 12 in the Tarot
In the Tarot, Card 12—The Hanged Man—represents precisely this moment: pausing, shifting one’s perspective, and voluntarily surrendering to a higher purpose.
The number 12, therefore, does not represent activity—but rather maturity and completion.
The 13 – Beyond the Old Order
Where 12 closes the circle, 13 breaks it open.
Mathematically simple, symbolically radical:
13 = 12 + 1
This “One” does not signify a return to order, but rather a leap. The number 13 is not an extension—it is a transformation. The existing order is abandoned or even shattered in favor of a new level that is attained.
In the Tarot, the 13th card is Death. With it, the existing order is broken in favor of a new possibility and level, in favor of a vitality that is only possible when the old dies. In the Tarot, the 13th card does not signify the end of life, but rather the end of a form. What dies is that which is no longer genuine.
The message of the 13 is:
You can't become who you are without letting go of who you were.
Why the number 13 was feared
The number 13 breaks down systems. That is precisely why it has been demonized in many patriarchal cultures:
Friday the 13th as an “unlucky day”
The myth that airplanes lack a 13th floor or row, and other explanations for misfortune—pure superstition
But this fear is artificially created, not archetypal. In older traditions closely connected to nature, the number 13 was considered sacred.
The Number 13 and Femininity
The number 13 is closely linked to the moon, the body, and cyclical wisdom:
13 lunar cycles per year
Menstrual and Fertility Cycles
The number associated with the Great Goddess in many ancient cultures; the 13 clan mothers from indigenous traditions such as the Hopi or Cherokee
The number 13 stands for:
The cycle of birth and death, of shedding one's skin, of initiation, of the uncontrollable, wild force
Along with the suppression of the feminine, the number 13 was also suppressed. This allowed everything to be kept within an “orderly, controllable framework” (perhaps you recall that I’ve already discussed this in detail in my two podcasts on darkness).
The number 13 is the breakthrough many of us have been waiting for—on a personal level, but also collectively and globally.
The 12 Months & the 13th Full Moon
In our Gregorian calendar, the year is divided into 12 months—a clear, stable framework. However, by nature, there are 13 lunar cycles per solar year when counting the moon from new moon to new moon.
The 12-month structure is therefore cultural and practical, not astronomically precise. The 13th moon does not fit neatly into this clear, stable framework, so it was removed.
Many indigenous cultures still follow the 13 moons today, as this allows them to live in harmony with nature, the cosmos, and the cycles of the universe. Just as was the case with ancient cultures such as the Maya, the Egyptians, and the Celts, each phase of the moon was seen as a gateway or initiation full of possibilities.
The year was often divided into 12 distinct cycles plus 1 transitional month, with the 12 representing order, structure, and tangible segments, and the 13 representing transformation, transition, the “intermediate year,” or “between the worlds.”
We could also say: The number 12 represents social order, and the number 13 represents the natural truth behind it.
Life isn't just about structure—there is also initiation, transformation, and cyclical thresholds that cannot be forced into rigid systems.
Christ's Oil
An incredibly important yet hitherto virtually unknown factor is the Christ oil, which promotes the process of enlightenment and Christ consciousness within us.
It is one of those mysteries that is little known but truly remarkable. The Christ oil, which forms within us every 29.5 days and undergoes certain processes in our system—during which it is either destroyed (by an unconscious lifestyle) or can elevate the entire body-soul-spirit system to a new level, energizing and rejuvenating it.
There are exercises and ways of living that make it possible to retain the oil, allow it to rise, and thereby energize the entire body. Dormant brain cells awaken, the blood is purified, and much more. Incredible processes that become truly visible and noticeable after twelve rounds—and here we are back at the 13th.
The 12/13 in Nature
Flowers & Fractals (Fibonacci Principle)
In the plant kingdom, too, structures based on the number 12 often appear as stable arrangements (e.g., leaves, petals).
But the number 13 appears when growth continues. It marks the transition to the next spiral.
Example:
Sunflowers, pine cones, roses
Spirals: 8 – 13 – 21 – 34
In nature, too, the number 13 represents the first “leap” beyond the closed form.
The Annual Cycle of Trees
Trees follow a 12-phase annual cycle: bud, leaf, fruit, dormancy.
But there is a 13th phase that is often overlooked: the quiet moment after letting go, before something new emerges.
This is not a visible state, but a transitional state—one that is enormously important from an energetic standpoint.
The number 13 represents the invisible realm between death and a new beginning.
Cycles, Tides & Chaos Windows
Tides follow a very stable rhythm (pattern). However, about every 12–13 cycles, there is a window of chaos.
We can also see this in the 12,000-year cycle, which always culminates in a major transition (13)—a new era (see the book *Involution*)—often accompanied by chaos and cataclysms, such as floods, shifting coastlines, and transformed ecosystems, etc.
The number 13 appears here as a destroyer, but it is in fact a force of purification and creative disruption that leads to a higher order.
Nature loves the number 12 as a structure—
—but it needs the number 13 to stay alive.
Circles and Spirals
The circle is perfect, but lifeless. The spiral is imperfect and open, but alive. The spiral allows for growth without interruption.
We can find examples practically everywhere in nature:

🐚 Snail shells & seashells
🌲 Pine cones
🌊 Hurricanes
🌌 Galaxies
🧬 even in DNA sequences
Metamorphosis: From Caterpillar to Butterfly
Let’s take a look at the oft-cited caterpillar that turns into a butterfly—a metaphor often used to describe our spiritual development. What actually happens inside the cocoon is that the caterpillar’s body largely liquefies, and the cells lose their former function. So-called imaginal cells (long “overlooked”) take over.
The caterpillar stops developing. It gives up and becomes something completely new.
The cocoon is not a stage of development, but a liminal space. The number 13 signifies a lack of identity, a transition, and the beginning of something entirely new.
Metamorphosis signifies the death of form, but not of essence.
The 12-grade school system
Interestingly, the number 12 brings things full circle here as well. The student was “educated” and “prepared” for life over the course of 12 years. The number 13 then marks the transition to making independent choices about how to move forward. Of course, these choices are based on how the student was shaped during those 12 years.
The 12-grade system is used in many countries, particularly in Western countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom (UK), France, Japan, and Finland.
The question isn't whether a person is shaped over the course of 12 years, but how. I'll leave that open for now.
We live in a culture that takes us through 12—but doesn't catch anyone when 13 begins.
The number 13 represents disorientation, emptiness, a lack of identity, and the chaos from which something new emerges.
But after 12 years of school, people usually already have plans for what comes next. The 13th year is pushed aside, hidden, and suppressed, and often resurfaces later in the form of existential crises such as depression, severe menopausal symptoms, or a midlife crisis.
Comparison: In indigenous cultures, the number 13 is viewed as a rite of passage and is accompanied, celebrated, and supported. In our culture, it is pathologized.
The 12 Chakras – Expansion of Consciousness
In the classical yoga or tantra system, there are 7 main chakras along the spine. These represent physical, emotional, and mental energy centers. The concept of the 12 chakras is a deliberate expansion of this system to finer levels—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I’ve written about this in my second book, *INVOLUTION*, and also in my third book, *SEELENKRAFT*, and we’ve been practicing their activation in my seminars for a few years now.
The 12 chakras form a complete cycle of integration, similar to the 12 strands of DNA or the 12 hours of the night in the Egyptian Amduat (I’ll get back to that later).
The 12 chakras form a compass for inner initiation—each chakra corresponds to a step on the path from material existence to expanded consciousness.
Level 13: Integration and Everyday Life
Here, too, there is the 13th level, which symbolizes integration in the heart and, by extension, in everyday life:
The 13th is not a chakra in the traditional sense, but rather its lived embodiment in life. The point is to enter now into a unified chakra—the heart space—where all the qualities of the chakras come together and are accessible to the individual.
The 13th level shows here how to integrate the activation of all the chakras into life, actions, relationships, and creativity, and thus live from the heart. All the potentials and qualities of all the chakras converge in the heart.
The Classic Zodiac – 12 Zodiac Signs
The zodiac is based on the sun's path (the ecliptic), which is divided into 12 segments of 30° each.
Each segment corresponds to a constellation: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and so on, through Pisces.
Historically, this division was made because 12 fit well with months, lunar cycles, and seasons.
The number 12 has a clear order: completeness, structure, a perfect system—as with the 12 months.
The "Hidden" 13th Star
In fact, the Sun passes through a 13th constellation on its path: it is called Ophiuchus, the “Serpent-Bearer.”
Ophiuchus lies between the constellations Scorpio and Sagittarius.
Astronomically speaking, it is real, but classical astrologers have not recognized it as an “official” sign. It does not fit into the 12-month cycle.
So our zodiac ignores the 13th moon / the 13th sign in order to “stabilize” the 12-part dynamic.
"Order" is preferred over natural variability or vitality. The number 13 is not allowed.
Why it Might Make Sense to Take the 13th Into Account
When we consider the natural rhythm of the sun, the moon, and the Earth, the number 13 fits perfectly into the archetypal structure of transformation:
12 = Structure, order, familiar cycle
13 = Initiation, Breakthrough, “New Consciousness”
In astrological terms, Ophiuchus would symbolize the themes of healing, transformation, and wisdom gained from crises—exactly the "13" quality we've already seen in all the other themes.
Do we need a new calendar based on the 13 moons again? Is that the eternal, divine order?
Does the 13th zodiac sign help us put this new awareness into practice?
The 13 Clan Mothers
The 13 clan mothers or 13 grandmothers from indigenous traditions (e.g., the Iroquois, Cherokee, or Hopi) fit perfectly into the 12/13 pattern. They are essentially the human, archetypal counterpart to the 13th level of initiation. I’ll explain it step by step:
There are 13 wise women who serve as guardians of knowledge, tradition, and spiritual order.
Each Clan Mother represents an archetypal principle, with the 13th Clan Mother representing the power of integration and transformation—that is, the power that transcends the ordered structure.
Jesus and the 12 Apostles
As I've already mentioned, religions also reflect these archetypes.
The 12 apostles gathered around Jesus. Here, too, we can recognize the archetypes.
In Jesus, the number 13 is revealed: the new divine order, the further development of what has come before, the resurrection of Christ consciousness—which unites all of these within itself and yet is none of them.
The Numbers 12 and 13 in the Ancient Egyptian Worldview
The Underworld, the Course of the Sun, and the Path to Immortality
Ancient Egyptian culture did not view numbers as abstract concepts, but rather as existential realities. Numbers described the processes of life, death, and rebirth. The numbers 12 and 13, in particular, played a central role—especially in connection with the sun’s cycle, the afterlife, and the initiation of the soul.
The 12 Hours of the Night – Order in the Realm of the Underworld
One of the clearest manifestations of the number 12 can be found in the ancient Egyptian Book of the Afterlife, particularly in the Amduat (“That Which Is in the Underworld”).
The night was divided into 12 hours, through which the sun—in the form of the god Ra—travels every night. These 12 hours are clearly structured and represent a complete journey through the various stages of the realm of the dead, with trials, gates, and tasks.
Every hour is a stage of transformation—but not yet salvation itself.
Ra goes through these 12 hours every night so that the world can be renewed in the morning.
Phase 13: Rebirth with the Morning Sun
The key point is:
The actual rebirth does not take place within the 12 hours.
After the 12th hour—at the moment of deepest darkness—the breakthrough occurs:
Ra is reborn as Chepri, the scarab god of becoming.
This phase is not the “13th hour” in a technical sense—but symbolically, it is clearly the 13th
In several texts about the afterlife, the underworld is described as a series of gates—often 12 in number. Each gate requires knowledge and a certain level of inner maturity.
But it is only after the last goal that the soul is not simply “finished,” but ready.
So here we are back at 13: The true initiation takes place beyond the gates—where no structure can help anymore, but only truth.
Incidentally, other ancient Egyptian myths, such as the one about Osiris, also follow this sequence.
The Number 13 as an Initiation in Ancient Egyptian Thought
For the Egyptians, the afterlife was not a place, but a state of consciousness that could only be attained through initiation.
The number 12 represented preparation, testing, and cosmic order.
The number 13 represented enlightenment, deification, and union with the course of the sun.
Connection to Later Mysticism
Many later spiritual systems draw on precisely this structure:
12 steps / 12 trials, then the breakthrough. Light after the night.
Ancient Egyptian culture is one of the oldest documented sources in which the 12/13 dynamic is fully elaborated as a path of initiation.
In the ancient Egyptian worldview, 12 represents the path through the night—
, 13 represents the recognition of one’s own divine light.
The 12 (13) Dimensions
Interestingly, there are 12—or rather, 13—dimensions. I recorded a detailed podcast on this topic, which you can also find on my YouTube channel. Classical physics defines 4 dimensions, string theory defines 10 dimensions, M-theory defines 11 dimensions, and quantum physicist Burkard Heim was able to define and explain 12 dimensions. The 13th dimension is the spiritual synthesis—once again, the intangible, the beyond.
In metaphysical concepts and spiritual or esoteric teachings, 13 dimensions are usually described as levels of consciousness or existence. These have less to do with space and time in the physical sense and more to do with states of consciousness, spiritual levels, and the multidimensional self.
The spiritual 13-dimensional model describes different levels of consciousness, existence, and energy that one passes through or can experience during the process of development—from the densest material level all the way to the source of all being.
These dimensions are often described as a journey of ascension or a return to unity—that is, from separation (3D) back to the Source (13D).
The DNS
Biological Order and the Initial Leap in Consciousness
DNA is not merely a biological storage medium, but a highly structured organizing principle of life. When viewed symbolically—and in the light of ancient wisdom traditions—an astonishing parallel emerges with the 12/13 dynamic of order and transformation.
The Number 12 as a Genetic Order
DNA is a system of clear rules, repetitions, and cycles. It ensures that life remains stable, reproducible, and reliable.
We have 12 strands that need to be awakened. For most people, only 2–3 strands are active, but through the ascension process (and also through targeted activations, such as with THEKI), we can awaken the still-dormant potential of our multidimensional being.
The 12-strand DNA thus represents a complete, orderly system in which everything functions in harmony.
From this perspective, DNA is a repository of heredity and the past, a vehicle for collective experience, and a biological memory.
Here, the double helix even shows us the spiral, which, as we have already seen, is always open—that is, ready for further development or the leap in consciousness to the next higher level.
The 13: Mutation, Activation, Leap
But evolution does not occur solely through repetition—it occurs through breaks. The number 13 symbolizes a process of mutation, epigenetic reprogramming, breaking away from old patterns, and discovering new possibilities.
Who are we when we go beyond the 12? When we don't see the 12 as a fixed goal, but as an important milestone that paves the way for what comes next?
"The number 12 preserves life and keeps it stable.
The number 13 brings it into consciousness and develops it further.
The number 13 is the moment when the system transcends itself.
It is the moment when the old can no longer sustain us and the new is not yet visible.
Yet that is precisely where transformation begins."
The Number 13 as a Path of Initiation
Initiation does not mean improvement—it means transformation. The number 13 marks the moment when the old identity is no longer sufficient.
While the 12 asks, “Who am I within this system?”
, the 13 asks, “Who am I beyond it?”
The archetypal path of 13 follows three phases:
1. The Collapse of the Old Order
Life no longer follows the rules it used to. Roles, certainties, and identities are losing their meaning. This isn't a mistake—it's just the beginning.
2. Threshold State (Liminality)
You’re “in between.” No longer the old, not yet the new.
Many cultures had rituals for this—today we often experience it as a crisis, a void, or a spiritual awakening.
3. Rebirth
After this phase, something new emerges. Not conformist—but true.
The number 13 does not mark a return to the old order, but rather a new level of consciousness.
The 12 teaches us how to live.
The 13 teaches us how to awaken.Maybe that's why 13 isn't dangerous—but honest.
Initialization as a Modification to the Code
The truly great, ancient mystery traditions knew that not everyone lives out the same version of their genetic potential. And they consciously worked with this knowledge, with the goal of awakening each individual’s potential.
In this sense, the 13th Initiation signified: deliberate confrontation, symbolic death (death of the ego), and a reordering of identity—the true Self beyond the ego or personality. It is the trigger that leads the DNA out of pure survival mode. It often takes the form of crises, losses, illnesses, and other upheavals. In this way, we are meant to realize that what was sufficient until now (12) is no longer enough. We move on.
In this way, even codes in DNA are completely rewritten, deleted, rewritten, and expanded. Nothing is set in stone. Everything is energy.
Life responds to consciousness. Neural and epigenetic patterns reorganize themselves.
Even the nervous system reorganizes itself, making coherence possible in all situations.
The Divine Man
The ancient Egyptians did not believe that everyone automatically became immortal. Immortality was a state of consciousness that had to be prepared for.
A person who had completed their initiations no longer lived solely within the biological cycle (symbolized by the number 12), but within the solar cycle (symbolized by the number 13).
Most people live within the 12: genetic influences, family patterns, collective programs, “karma,” learned survival patterns, preservation of the organism, and the repetition of tried-and-true patterns. This is necessary, but it is also limiting if we remain within it. The 12 is life sustaining itself in a cycle.
The number 13 marks the moment when we overcome all of this and break new ground. Here, we have access to everything we are and can be. Our genetic material can be interpreted and analyzed in an entirely new way—indeed, it can be lived out.
"I don't live according to what has been passed down to me—but according to what I choose."
The number 13 is the key to the new world!
Do you notice anything? We live in a world governed by a 12-month calendar, where we’re divided into 12 school classes. The number 13 isn’t supposed to matter, since 12 is already perfect.
But that is exactly the fallacy we've been falling for for so long!
We live in a culture that guides us perfectly through the number 12—
—but doesn't catch anyone when the number 13 begins.
We tend to stick with the number 12. Twelve is good; it’s round; it’s neat. It has everything we need—we don’t need anything more. But staying there isn’t life. It makes us dissatisfied, and then we start to shake things up. We want to break through the glass ceiling, to leave the prison—no matter how orderly and refined it may be.
But then we become afraid. Because we haven’t learned to navigate this process of the 13 with ease. We haven’t been allowed to do so until now. All systems have worked to keep us in the 12. The upheaval that the 13 can bring… we weren’t prepared for that.
We don’t want it. It seems dangerous to us. We’ve come to fear it—whether out of superstition or because of the emptiness and disorientation that the number 13 can initially trigger. In the past, such things were simply normal at certain times in life—expected, and then accompanied, even ritualized. People were wisely guided through these processes, knowing that they are important milestones in every life. But today, we know only the fear of it. It’s as if we were dying. And in a certain sense, that’s exactly what’s happening. Our ego dies little by little as we allow ourselves to repeatedly outgrow who we currently are—or believe ourselves to be. As we repeatedly consider the impossible to be possible, choose vitality over security, and authenticity over applause.
A quote that has been with me for more than half my life expresses exactly that:
Under no circumstances do I want to be just another run-of-the-mill person.
I have a right to break the mold—if I can.
I want opportunities, not certainties.
I don’t want to be a dependent citizen, humiliated and jaded because the state takes care of me.
I want to take risks, to yearn for something and make it happen,
