For many years, I have dedicated my life to this subject. Starting with myself, more and more “lights of the world” joined me, finding the freedom to break free. That is how THEKI came into being many years ago, and that is how I continue to work today. Of course, many things continue to evolve—becoming faster, more effective, deeper, clearer…—but one thing remains unchanged to this day:
Denying darkness—or so-called “negativity”—doesn’t work. It only creates “shadows” within us that grow ever more powerful and either cause us fear, which we then project outward (e.g., onto a virus), or lead to other issues such as illness, relationship problems, compulsions, addictions, etc.
Underlying all of this is what we have repressed—what we didn’t want to see, what we didn’t want to look at, what we have denied. It doesn’t matter at all whether this lies within us or in the outside world. From this perspective, the outside world doesn’t even exist; it is always a projection of our inner belief system.
The Monster in the Basement
Whatever you’ve repressed at some point in your life, you can think of it as a child of yours that you’ve locked in the basement. You thought it was a monster, but it’s merely your creation, and it wants to get out again. In a moment when you didn’t know any better, you simply saw it as dangerous or unhelpful at the time, and you locked it in the basement. It will keep seeking redemption until it is free again.
It's your life force!
The reason this monster in your basement wants so badly to get out is that, deep down, it wants to serve you. Whenever we encounter a challenge in our lives, it is an invitation from life to face it, overcome it, and grow from it. When we do this with our whole BEING, our entire life force participates in the process and—enriched by the experience—will be able to flow even more strongly and clearly afterward.
But if, at that moment, we say, “No, no, I don’t want that; it’s the others’ fault; it has nothing to do with me; it’s out there anyway; everyone else agrees with me; I am light, etc.,” then we won’t get rid of it—instead, we’ll “bundle” this “danger” into a “form” and hide it. Like the example of the monster in the basement. But since this energy is ultimately ours and wants to flow back into us and our lives—indeed, it cannot be separated from us at all—it keeps knocking on the door. And yes, our soul’s plan wasn’t fulfilled in that moment either; the lesson wasn’t accepted or learned. So it keeps knocking and knocking and knocking on the door…
Every time there’s a knock, it’s an invitation from your life—from your higher self, which knows your life’s plan—to consciously engage with this moment. To master this moment. To recognize it as the gift that it is, instead of trying to shift the blame onto others, which doesn’t work anyway.
Life challenges you, but it has no interest in overwhelming you.
Every time there’s a knock, it’s an invitation from your life to be COURAGEOUS right now. To realize right now that life believes you’re ready. That you clearly have everything you need to open the basement door.
Every time there’s a knock, it’s an invitation from your life to reclaim your life energy right now, here and today, to bring the child up from the basement, hold it lovingly in your arms, and integrate it into your life.
Everything that is out there is within you.
Everything you see in others is you.
Everything that knocks on your door deserves to be looked at with awareness.
Everything that lies in the shadows simply needs light.
Everything that frightens you needs your love.
This is the profound teaching of THEKI and many other deep sciences: You can’t just focus on the positive and expect everything else to simply dissolve. That might work here and there, but when it comes to truly deep issues, traumas, and wounds, it just doesn’t work. They want to be set free at last. Consciously. By you. Do it. Today. Now.
And THEN, when you are FREE, you can turn toward the GOOD with a smile, with EASE, and with full AWARENESS—because then it’s real.
